Your tour begins in the Joyce and Arthur Hurvitz Board Room on the first floor of the new Victor and Gussie Baxt Building. The new board room is spacious and convertible, with video and webcast capabilities. The new building also features three additional conference rooms for physicians, staff, boards or community groups.
The first floor of our new building is where you will find our new cafeteria, diagnostic imaging suite, and gift shop, which we will visit next.
As we tour the first floor, you will notice that it is decorated in shades of blue, white, brown and gold. These colors reflect Jewish traditions and culture, integral to the foundation of the The Miriam Hospital. The artwork in the corridors is a collection of photographs of Israel, taken by Fred DeGregorio, manager of accounting operations for Lifespan Corporate Services.
