The interventional radiology department provides a full spectrum of minimally invasive therapies, complementing The Miriam Hospital's multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Conditions such as acute stroke, carotid and renal artery stenosis, peripheral vascular disease, uterine fibroids, vertebral compression fracture, deep venous thrombosis and cancer are a few of the diseases treated by The Miriam's interventional radiologists. In particular, minimally invasive, locoregional cancer care has added an exciting new clinical dimension to the department.
