Margaret Bublitz, PhD, is a research scientist in the Centers for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine at The Miriam Hospital and an assistant professor (research) in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
She received her PhD in clinical psychology in 2010 and was the recipient of an NIH T32 award in cardiovascular behavioral medicine from 2010 to 2012.
Bublitz's current work focuses on understanding the biobehavioral pathways linking early life adversity to adverse neonatal outcomes. In particular, she is interested in investigating neuroendocrine and inflammatory pathways linking experiences of childhood sexual abuse to increased rates of preterm birth.
