Theresa Senn, PhD
Theresa Senn, PhD, is an associate professor (research) of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a senior research scientist in the Centers for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine at The Miriam Hospital.
Her primary research interests are in sexual health and HIV/STD prevention and intervention. She has worked on several NIH grants to develop and evaluate sexual risk reduction interventions. In addition, Senn is interested in how exposure to violence affects sexual behavior.
She has recently completed a grant investigating how child maltreatment leads to later sexual risk behavior.
